Abstract:
The developed 1-D snowpack model is able to predict the melt generated from the snow pack overlaying the polythermal Zhadang Glacier in Tibet. The aim is to compute the melt rate generated, to estimate the refreezing and hence study runoff and evolution of the snow-glacier system.
