Initiating Workshop
for potential Fellows and their BayCEER host Supervisors

• Optimizing your MSCA proposal:
  Practical examples, tips and tricks, career development options at the UBT, Q&A.
• Starting joint work:
  Discussion and further development of your research project idea and the proposal.
• Framework programme:
  Get to know the university, the research infrastructure, and the city of Bayreuth.

Instructors: Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), Research support & Career development/UBT, MSCA Couple/BayCEER

• Are you interested in working with one of the potential hosts at BayCEER?
• Do you have an excellent idea for a joint research project?
• Do you want to benefit from the excellent career development models at UBT - an internationally recognized German university with a long-standing tradition and excellence in environmental and ecological research?

You have to meet the EU eligibility requirements for an MSCA Individual Fellowship in 2017:

• Do you already have/will you complete your PhD until 09/2017, or, do you have more than 4 years full time research experience?
• Mobility rule: Have you resided in Germany for less than 12 months between 09/2014-09/2017?

The workshop fund covers airfare within Europe, accommodation and workshop participation.

• A two-page draft of your intended research project co-authored with your potential supervisor at UBT/ BayCEER, tailored along the criteria in the MSCA proposal (see PDF research description guidance)
