Das jüngste Verbundkolleg ‚Life Sciences und Grüne Technologien‘ des Bayerischen Wissenschaftsforums BayWISS hat mit Esther Baumann die erste Doktorandin aufgenommen. Sie promoviert kooperativ betreut von Prof. Dr. Michael Rudner, Professur für Geobotanik an der Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf und Prof. Dr. Carl Beierkuhnlein, Lehrstuhl Biogeografie an der Universität Bayreuth zur hochaktuellen Problematik der schwindenden Biodiversität heimischer Ökosysteme.
