| Abstract: We report on the 9th international Meeting on Vegetation Databases, which was organised by the Section “Vegetation databases” of NetPhyD on 24–26 February 2010 in Hamburg. The conference under the motto “Vegetation databases and climate change” was well attended by participants from many countries. Further, we provide information on the Section “Vegetation databases” itself, which can be joined by everybody free of charge. Finally, we present two database projects in close connection with the conference: the World Index on Plot-Based Vegetation Databases (a metadatabase) and the planned supranational vegetation database with (dry) grassland relevés from SE Europe. |
