Target Audience

We invite you to join us for the Conference  'Iron Biogeochemistry - From Molecular Processes to Global Cycles' in March 2013 at the Monte Verita conference venue. The meeting is an initiative of the ESF Research Networking Programme 'Functionality of Iron Minerals in Environmental Processes' (FIMIN) and aims to bring together experts from all over the world.

We expect about 70-90 participants from research fields in which iron biogeochemistry plays a central role, including soil and aquatic chemistry, environmental mineralogy, environmental microbiology, biogeochemistry, oceanography, geology, and biology.

Expected Contributions and Important Dates

Besides invited keynote lectures there are time slots provided for shorter oral and poster presentations. These presentations will be selected based on a review process.

Deadline for online submission of abstracts:
October 1, 2012
