The International Biogeography Society is awarding travel grants to students to help with travel expenses associated with attending the 2015 IBS biennial meeting, to be held 8-12 January 2015 in Bayreuth, Germany.

Grants will be awarded to individuals giving oral or poster presentations at the meeting; all applicants must be current student members of the International Biogeography Society. Applications by post-docs from developing countries (only) who are also IBS members, will also be considered.

Applications and supporting materials are due by September 30th, 2014.  Awards include a registration fee waiver and cover attendance at one workshop (if space is available), with some larger additional awards of up to 500 USD for travel expenses. Please note that the Travel Awards are principally for students, and matching funds are strongly recommended.

Student Travel Awards can be applied for within your conference registration (available from August 28, 2014).  If you have registered already and now wish to add a submission for a Student Travel Award, please edit your conference registration in the 'Internal' section.
