Fees and Payment
The registration fee will cover most subsistence costs (welcome, coffee breaks, lunches, evening meals each day), the conference dinner, abstract volume, and the one-day intra-conference Persani volcanics excursion including guidebook.

Students and PhD students have to certify their status in the online registration.
Registration after May 1 will cost another 100 euro per registrant (all categories).

Payments of the registration fee shall be directed to the Romanian Academy account:

Please state INTAV-RO when transferring the registration fee.
- Confirmation for the transfer of the registration fee will be provided only upon request.
- An official paper-supported invoice for the registration fee will be delivered at the on-site registration desk - in case you require the official invoice issued at an earlier date, please contact us directly.
- For ensuring complacency with Romanian law, the financial registration number (ID) of your home institution (such as the VAT number, etc) by which your institution is recognized in international transactions must be provided – this ID will be listed on the official invoice alongside your name and other details you provide.
- NOTE: All the bank charges must be covered by remitter. Please understand that we cannot accept the sharing of charges.
Refund and Cancellation Policies
General refund policy in case of cancellation:
On or before April 30, 2018: 100% refund (minus administrative fees)
On or before May 20, 2018: 50% refund
After May 20, 2018: no refund (May be negotiable in very special circumstances but an administrative fee will apply in any event)
