Visitor from Helsinki at the DarkMix project!

Olli Peltola, a PostDoc at the University of Helsinki, visited us from the 04.11. until the 17.11.18 to learn about the latest research development on fiber optic distributed sensing. During his visit the first outdoor deployment of distributed wind direction sensing was built in the ecological botanical garden. As part of this work we’re researching how to transfer this method from the wind tunnel to the atmosphere.
