7 FUTURELAB/NFER FUTURELAB - Innovation in Education (UK)
The Institution
Futurelab is an independent not-for-profit research and development organization focused on digital media and learning. Futurelab researchers have developed a strong track record in areas such as digital literacy, informal and out of school learning, and curriculum innovation.
Working Group
Dr. Ben Williamson is responsible for Futurelab's contribution to Pathway. He is research fellow at the University of Exeter where he focuses on school curriculum innovation, STEM education and digital media. Sarah Payton is a researcher with expertise in digital literacy and out of school learning. Sarah has day to day management responsibility for Pathway for Futurelab.
Involvement in PATHWAY
Futurelab has specific responsibility for stakeholder engagement activities in WP4. Besides contributing to all other work packages, we will be developing specific strengths in informal and out of school science education within work packages 3 and 5.
