Technical Instructions for Presentations

Online registration of participants and contributions

In the online registration you are asked to provide your contact data, you can book events from the supporting program and submit contributions to the conference.

Please submit your contribution (poster or oral presentation), including an abstract until October 15th, 2017 on www.fh-dggv.de/bochum-2018.html. You will receive the confirmation for your contribution to the conference program by December 15th, 2017. The final program can be found on the conference website in January 2018.

For submitting a contribution, please fill in the authors, an abstract (max. 3000 characters), a literature list (up to five entries) and optionally one figure (black-and-white). Please choose the format of your contribution (poster or oral) and the session it fits in. You may indicate possible alternative sessions, giving us more flexibility in the design of the program.

When the registration is finished you will receive a personal access code. You can add or edit your contributions (before the deadline on October 15, 2017) or book events from the supporting program on the internal part of the conference website using your personal access code.

Oral Presentations

Time slot for oral presentations is 15 minutes (12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion). Please prepare your oral presentation accordingly and stay in time!

Each lecture hall will feature a projection unit.  The following presentation software will be provided: Adobe Reader and Microsoft Power Point. The presentation file can be copied on the presentation laptop before the session or during breaks (no online submission).

Poster

Recommended poster format is DIN A0 Portrait. Posters can be hung up from Wednesday, 6 pm. You will find your poster number in the upper left corner of the partition wall. Fixing material will be available.

(1) Der Autor erklärt, dass er über die urheberrechtlichen Nutzungsrechte an seinem Werk verfügt, so dass keinerlei Rechte Dritter verletzt sind. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, verpflichtet er sich, den Verlag von etwaigen Ansprüchen Dritter freizustellen.

(2) Der Autor erklärt, dass er das Werk unter Beachtung der allgemein anerkannten wissenschaftlichen Grundsätzen selbstständig erstellt hat.
