Hohe Auszeichnung durch die Amerikanische Meteorologische Gesellschaft

Die Amerikanische Meteorologische Gesellschaft hat Prof. Dr. Thomas Foken mit dem "AMS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Biometeorology" “for many contributions, as a researcher and educator, to the understanding and measurement of atmosphere-biosphere interactions and the surface energy balance” ausgezeichnet. Die Auszeichnung wurde am 9. Januar 2013 auf der Jahrestagung der AMS in Austin, TX überreicht. Aus diesem Anlass gab Prof. Foken ein Interview für das Bull. Am. Meteorol. Soc.
