“Why does my guinea pig drink so less?” “How does the water get into the leaves of a tree?” Instructed by learning on work stations you should get those and similar questions from the everyday life to the topic “Water as a basis for life” to the bottom – in the true sense of the specific word. Interdisciplinary experiments easily allow students to become familiar with typical methods of science. They learn how to use research material like measuring instruments or implements (appropriated for the grades 5-7).
