Reactive trace gases and plant ecology

DFG ME 2100/4-1

From 11/2006 to 10/2009

Principal Investigator: Franz X. Meixner
Staff: Eva Falge

The biogeochemical project comprises measurements of fluxes (by dynamic chambers and cuvettes, eddy covariance) and 2D concentration fields of non-reactive and reactive (trace) gases from soil layers, through trunk and canopy spaces to the atmospheric surface layer, and the quantification and model description of in-canopy cycling as well as the interactive coupling of underlying processes.
