How to get to Karlsruhe

The city of Karlsruhe can be reached well by car and train. Since 1994, public passenger transport has been organized by the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV).

The conference venue is located on Campus South of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It can be reached via the motorway A5, exit Karlsruhe-Durlach (follow the signs).

From the railway station, tram lines 2, 4, S4 – S41, and S5 – S51 pass Campus South that is located in the city center of Karlsruhe.


The FH-DGG Conference takes place in the buildings Audimax (30.95) and 40.32 of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. For the plenary presentations, we use the lecture hall Audimax (30.95) and seminar rooms A and B (30.95) as well as the Plank Hörsaal (40.32). The conference is signposted, please consult the campus map or the campus navigator.

On Wednesday before the meeting, the training seminars will take place in building 50.41 (Adenauerring 20) and the Forum of Young Hydrogeologists in the Plank Hörsaal.
