Fast Track

The Fast-Track-Option is meant for master students with widely higher-than-average credits. Applicants for Fast Track have to pass a qualification procedure (see PEER regulations, IV. Ecology and Environmental Research). The proposal for admission to the qualification procedure has to be submitted jointly by the candidate and the supervisor of the projected thesis.

Application Documents

• Joint motivation letter from candidate and supervisor with a short description of the contents of the dissertation project and the reason for the Fast-Track-Option
  
  
• Bachelor certificate (copy/scan)
  
  
• Certificates for at least 27 credit points collected so far during a master program related to the PhD project  (-> to be received at examination office)
  
  
• If present, certificates for special qualifications with regard to contents of the dissertation project (e.g. professional training, awards, practical training, grants, stays abroad)
