Why do people start with martial arts, why do they stay with it or quit, why do they change the sport or the art, how do people behave in martial arts, how do they act in various settings, what do they think about it and what do they experience in it? These are the kinds of questions that the 11th Annual Conference of the dvs-Commission on Martial Arts and Combat Sports will address at the University of Bayreuth. We invite you to share and discuss your work in the context of psychology, martial arts and combat sports with your colleagues at this conference. (Call for Abstracts).
