improvement of methods (esp. heat-pulse sensor) for flow path identification
determination of drivers controlling in situ hyporheic flow patterns
measurement and understanding of biogeochemical processing (focus on N, P, C) along hyporheic flow paths
comparison of relevant drivers of biogeochemical processes in temperate and Mediterranean climate zones
