Biogeochemical processing along hyporheic flow paths
ESR 04
From 12/2014Principal Investigator: Jörg Lewandowski
Staff: Jason Galloway
Objectives of this project:
- improvement of methods (esp. heat-pulse sensor) for flow path identification
- determination of drivers controlling in situ hyporheic flow patterns
- measurement and understanding of biogeochemical processing (focus on N, P, C) along hyporheic flow paths
- comparison of relevant drivers of biogeochemical processes in temperate and Mediterranean climate zones
