SS 2016
Effectively writing scientific manuscripts is a central scientific skill. Major topics of this ATC are strategies and techniques for drafting scientific contributions effectively and to the point; common pitfalls in scientific writing; self-help strategies for academic writers; choosing appropriate publication outlets, incl. open-access journals. The ATC will focus on drafts of the first manuscripts written by the ESRs, thereby providing learning opportunities that are directly related to their individual research.
