M15 | Science and Communication Learning Objectives: The course provides an overview of the challenges associated with scientific communication, especially science outreach typically conducted by scientists to non-expert audiences. At the end of this course, the students will have acquired a good understanding of the multiple factors shaping the success of different communication strategies and tools. Importantly, this course aims to help support the development of critical thinking and decision making among students, while enhancing their communication skills. Course Content: Science communication skills are needed to get support for scientific research, to inform decision making, or to engage stake- holder.
