Through this course participants acquire the following skills:
- how to collect and manipulate data from biological collections.
- how to manipulate and merge data in vector (points and grids) and matrix formats using R and ArcGIS.
- how to classify rare species according to their geographic range, the number of habitats they occur in and their population size
