Junior Professorship Atmospheric Chemistry

Research interests:

Detection of volatile organic compounds and their photooxidation products in laboratory, chamber and field to understand how

  • the exchange between atmosphere and the Earth’s ecosystems functions
  • oxidation processes within the atmosphere lead to the formation of ozone and aerosol
  • the increasing influence of human activity changes local air quality and climate
