Research interests:

• Mechanistic understanding of the soil-related process occurring at the soil-root interface
• Soil physical constraints imposed on the transport of water and nutrients between the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum, particularly in water and nutrient-limited conditions
• Linking the physical and transport properties of soil to its ecosystem services (e.g CO₂ emission, microplastic dynamics, and soil quality matters, etc.)
