When: Sunday, 29.09.2024 -- 14:00 to ~19:00 For a limited number of participants (max. 30) we want to offer a small excursion to show our local geology around Bayreuth. We will visit an old mine in the heart of the fichtel mountains with a guided tour. Afterwards we plan to visit some interesting sites around the fichtel mountains, and hope to discuss about geosphere sampling and subsurface analysis. |

- 14:30 - 15:00: Bus ride to geologigal Site and Mine "Gleissinger Fels"
- 15:00 - 17:00: Guided tour of the Mine (en)
- 17:30 - 18:00: Bus ride back to Bayreuth
