In the exercises, selected structure-function relationships within complex microbiomes will be jointly elaborated using stable isotopic labeling in combination with modern high-throughput sequencing and other molecular and imaging techniques. The qualitative and quantitative data obtained will be interactively evaluated and questioned in a hypothesis-based manner.
