Board of Examiners

The Board of Examiners is a group of 3-4 professors, 1 member of the scientific staff, and 1 student of the respective study programme. Suggestions for the student representative come from the students. All members of the board are officially nominated by the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry, and Geosciences for a duration of 2 years.

The Board of Examiners interprets, applies, and further develops Examination Regulations, decides about admission to exams or theses, acceptance of performance assessments, etc. It is also your appeal instance in disputes regarding the conduct and evaluation of examination results. The Board of Examiners usually meets 2-3 times during the semester and whenever a situation arises that needs immediate discussion. The head of the Board of Examiners is also your Programme Coordinator.

If you have any problems or complaints, please contact your Programme Coordinator. He or she will advise you how to proceed and guide you through any formal claims you might want to make.
