Research topic: Impacts of global change drivers on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in European grasslands
Cheng is a phd student in Disturbance Ecology. She studies how global change drivers, such as drought, other climate extremes and land-use change, affect biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in European grasslands. She is interested in how changes in plant, soil and microbial communities shape key functions such as productivity, nutrient cycling and stability.
