The first nine months of the Keylab for Experimental Biogeochemistry: In this talk, preliminary results of upcoming projects will be presented as well as ideas for new approaches of process-oriented research focusing on the mechanisms of environmental redox-transformations. Furthermore, first results from various collaborative projects - both within the BayCEER and internationally - will be presented. These projects have the goal of studying environmental processes and reaction mechanisms at the (sub-)micrometer scale using analytical microscopy tools.
