2-day stable isotope student workshop
with social event (24.-26.09.2023)
Preceding the annual meeting of the German Association for Stable Isotope Research (GASIR 2023) taking place in Bayreuth, Bavaria, we will organize a two-day stable isotope workshop for Ph.D. and interested Master’s students.
Topics
- Keynote lectures from internationally renowned experts
- Theoretical and methodological aspects of natural abundance and tracer studies
- Individual and specific training and feedback on submitted posters/abstracts
- BayCenSI capabilities and potential cooperations
- Support for submitting a stepping stones project
Application procedure
- Submission of an abstract explaining the isotope project (1500 words)
- Deadline for submitting an abstract: 1 July 2023
- Level: Ph.D. and interested master’s students
- Number of Participants: max 16
- Submission of Posters beforehand (electronically>3 weeks in advance)
- Deadline for poster submission: 1 September 2023
Applicants will get feedback on their application for the workshop on 14 July and can decide about joining the conference within the early bird registration period (ending on 21 July).
