BayCEER Workshop 2012
The fourth Workshop of the Bayreuth Center for Ecology and Environmental Research BayCEER took place on October 11, 2012 as a platform for presenting research questions to an interdisciplinary audience of scientists at the University of Bayreuth and as part of the PhD program Ecology and Environmental Research (PEER). The participants of the BayCEER Workshop had a background in many different disciplines ranging from ecology oriented biology to the geosciences. Presenting the own research in a comprehensible and convincing way to an interdisciplinary audience is a skill which could be practiced here. A course on Presentation Skills accompanied the workshop, the participants acted as judging panel for the poster prize as well as the prize for the best talk for PhD students (sponsored by members of the PEER steering committee).
