Estimating metabolic states of stream ecosystems

David Piatka et al have just published a new manuscript in Scientific Reports. With a combination of stable isotopes, modeling and GIS techniques we were able to rank the metabolic activities of six sites along three Bavarian streams in terms of their oxygen cycling behaviours.
