Workshop: Basic Skills in Science

This workshop is aimed at conveying a suite of skills aiding in the successful completion of a PhD. The topics addressed in the workshop comprise:

• Coming up with scientific hypotheses
• Performing literature research
• Writing and publishing in science
• Disciplinary and interdisciplinary research
• Self- and time-management

The workshop is aimed at PhD-students or Master-students about to start a PhD. Maximum number of participants is 12. Registration is required due to the limited number of participants. Priority will be given to PhD-students within the PEER-graduate school.
