Initiating Workshop
for potential Fellows and their BayCEER host Supervisors

The goal of MSCA European Fellowships is to support researchers of any nationality in furthering their career by financing a research project at a host institution for 1-2 years. Funding costs cover living allowance, research equipment, travel expenses, management, and overheads. The next deadline for applications is 14/09/17.
Ecology & the Environmental Sciences are a focus area of the University of Bayreuth (UBT) with a long-standing tradition and demonstrated excellence. We offer a unique infrastructure for research in the fields of global change, biodiversity, ecosystem functions/services and environmental protection.

You have to meet the EU eligibility requirements for an MSCA Individual Fellowship in 2017:
- Do you already have/will you complete your PhD until 09/2017, or, do you have more than 4 years full time research experience?
- Mobility rule: Have you resided in Germany for less than 12 months between 09/2014-09/2017?
The workshop fund covers airfare within Europe, accommodation and workshop participation.

- A current CV tailored to the use in the MSCA proposal (see PDF CV guidance)
- A two-page draft of your intended research project co-authored with your potential supervisor at UBT/ BayCEER, tailored along the criteria in the MSCA proposal (see PDF research description guidance)
