Gap filling program

A user-friendly open source package GaFiR was developed to fill data gaps in turbulent flux observations of evapotranspiration and carbon dioxide. This package requires users only some basic knowledge in R environment, and runs on Windows, UNIX/Linux, and MacOS platforms. GaFiR is able to not only fill data gaps in carbon dioxide and evapotranspiration (latent heat) flux in a variety of conventional and up-to-date ways for different ground surfaces, but also output plenty of interesting related information such as distribution of data gaps, statistics of model parameterizations, and goodness-of-fit measure of models. The outputs of GaFiR are fruitful in a variety of formats such as figures, explanatory texts, and data tables, which can be directly used in scientific publications.
