Technical Instructions

Online registration of participants and contributions

During online registration, you are asked to provide your contact data. Here you can book events from the supporting program and submit contributions to the conference.

Please submit your contribution (poster or oral presentation) including an abstract by October 30, 2021 on www.fh-dggv.de/jena-2022. You will receive confirmation for your contribution to the conference program by December 15, 2021. The final program will be posted on the conference website in January 2022.

To submit a contribution, please fill in the authors, an abstract (max. 3000 characters), a literature list (up to five entries) and optionally one figure (black and white). Please choose the format of your contribution (poster or oral) and the session it fits in. You may indicate possible alternative sessions, giving us more flexibility in the design of the program.

When the registration is completed, you will receive a personal access code. You can add or edit your contributions (before the deadline on October 15, 2021) or book events from the supporting program on the internal part of the conference website using your personal access code.

Oral presentations

The time allowance for oral presentations is 15 minutes (12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion). Please prepare your oral presentation accordingly and stay within the time limit!

Contributors will receive information on the technical implementation in advance by e-mail.

Posters

The posters will be presented by the authors during the Flashtalks. In addition, a poster session will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022. Contributors will receive information on the technical implementation in advance by e-mail.

Granting rights of use

(1) The author declares to be the copyright holder and no rights of third parties are violated. If this is not the case, the author is required to indemnify the publisher from any third party claims.

(2) The author declares that he/she has independently prepared the work in accordance with generally accepted scientific principles.

 Online implementation

(Updated on March 03, 2022)

We use the conference platform SCOOCS to host the conference as an online event. The oral sessions will be held in Zoom meetings that are integrated into the platform. By attending the conference, you agree to the use of these tools. Recording of the event or parts of it is not permitted. There will be no recording of the conference by the organizer. Access information to the conference platform will be provided to all registrants via email a few days before the start of the event (presumably March 18, 2022).

Contributors to the conference agree to give their oral or poster presentation virtually. Poster authors upload their posters to the platform themselves. They will receive access to the conference platform approximately 2 weeks before the start of the event. Technical support is available if required.

The conference platform with all published content (e.g. posters, list of participants) is available for registered conference participants for a period of 4 weeks after the event.
