Workshop "CBD & IPBES"

this Saturday, 24.11.2012, from 9 to 17 Uhr (ct!) in the S23 (GEO) a small Workshop on the "Convention on Biological Diversity" will take place. The event will be held in English.

Please be present by 9 am (ct) for a scintillating discussion.

We will cover topics on the Convention of Biological Diversity, it's past, present and future. Recent developments at international conferences (COP) will also be addressed.This workshop will also include topics on the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), outcomes of Nagoya (COP 2010) and Hyderabad (COP 11), and an introduction to the 2020 targets, including strategic plans for reaching these goals.
