Lecture: Hydrological Concepts (A4a) (74012)

Learning Objectives (Module A4): At the end of this course you should be able to describe how water cycles through the various compartments of our environment, which flow pathways water takes through the landscape to become streamflow, and what the linkages are between water quantity and water quality.

Course Content: The course is composed mostly of lectures, with a few hands-on labs on working with hydrological data and measuring stream discharge. It comprises three major topics: understanding the basic principles of the hydrological cycle, threats to water quality, and protection of water resources.
