TERRECO Science Conference 2011

The first cohort of doctoral students of the International Research and Training Group (DFG-IRTG) TERRECO have conducted their third year of field research in South Korea, and are working hard to complete publications and their thesis. A broad discussion of new insight from both the Korean and German projects will be carried out at the TERRECO Science Conference 2011, which is held at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Garmisch-Partenkirchen from October 2-7, 2011. Faculty and doctoral candidates of TERRECO are challenged to integrate the results in the context of overall goals, to plan joint synthesis papers, and to set the direction for the next phase of this transdisciplinary research effort.
