Colloquium on Latin America
The Colloquium on Latin America has been organised since summer term 2023 as a hybrid platform for academic exchange between students, researchers, professors and other interested persons. The event features five to nine sessions per semester, at which research projects on Latin America are presented in English or Spanish, followed by a discussion with the audience. The digital modality of the colloquium and the selected time slots allow participants from Europe, Latin America and other parts of the world to join in and discuss despite the different time zones and locations.
Our goal is to contribute to the maintenance of a network of researchers focused on Latin America, with the colloquium serving as a platform for the dissemination, exchange, and feedback of innovative empirical research projects.
The 4th Colloquium on Latin America will take place during winter semester 2024/25.
