Ein europäisches Projekt des Horizon 2020 Rahmenprogramms für Forschung und Innovation, welches sich mit dem Einsatz der Fernerkundung zum Monitoring wichtiger europäischer Schutzgebiete befasst. ECOPOTENTIAL vereint 47 Forschungsinstitute, Universitäten und Unternehmen aus 18 Ländern und wird von Dr. Antonello Provenzale, CNR-Italien, und von Prof. Carl Beierkuhnlein, Universität Bayreuth, geleitet.
