This workshop is aimed at conveying a suite of skills aiding in the successful completion of a PhD.
The topics addressed in the workshop comprise:
- Coming up with scientific hypotheses
- Performing literature research
- Writing and publishing in science
- Disciplinary and interdisciplinary research
- Self- and time-management
The workshop is aimed at PhD-students or Master-students about to start a PhD. Maximum number of participants is 12.
Registration is required due to the limited number of participants. Priority will be given to PhD-students within the PEER-graduate school. If you are interested in taking part please send an e-mail to Birgit Thies to register (birgit.thies@bayceer.uni-bayreuth.de).
Deadline for registration: 21st of December 2012.
