IBS conference 2015

From January 8th – 12th the University of Bayreuth welcomed the International Biogeography Society for its 7th international conference. Over 600 scientists from 50 countries discussed their research in numerous oral and poster presentations. Highlights of the meeting were the welcome evening in the Ecological Botanical Garden as well as the banquet in the German Museum of Steam Engines. The conference was hosted by BayCEER and headed by Prof. Carl Beierkuhnlein, department of Biogeography.
