GLOBAL CHANGE BIOLOGY has published the Virtual Issue ‘Impact of extreme meteorological events on soils and plants’, with four contributions from the DFG Research Unit 562 'Soil processes at extreme meteorological boundary conditions' in April, Volume 15, Issue 4, edited by Werner Borken and Egbert Matzner, Department of Soil Ecology. The photo on the cover page shows the snow removal plot at the Coulissenhieb research site, located in Southern Germany.
