Registration for the examination BANU-Felbotanik (Bronze and Silver level) now open


The Ecological-Botanical Garden of the University of Bayreuth in cooperation with the Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management (ANL) offers participation in the examinations BANU-Feldbotanik Zertifikat Nordbayern in bronze and silver on 24 June 2023. You are cordially invited to participate!

Species knowledge is an important tool in natural history, for citizen science projects, in mapping and assessing rare and protected species and biotopes, in practical nature conservation work, in agriculture and forestry and last but not least in science. With the BANU field botany certificates of different levels, the botanical species knowledge acquired during training and/or self-study can be proven and documented.
The "Federal Working Group of State-supported Environmental Education Centres in Nature Conservation and Environmental Protection" (BANU) has developed a certification system that is valid throughout Germany, is comparable and defines a transparent, high standard.
