Soil ecology

Research interests:

  • Understanding the effects of climate stress, such as drought and warming, on ecosystems.
  • Identifying the role of soil microbes in transferring carbon between deadwood and litter.
  • Examining the climate feedback mechanisms and carbon sequestration in permafrost peatlands.
