The Certificate - Conferral of the doctoral degree

As soon as the thesis is published in proper form, the director of the BayNAT Graduate School issues a certificate in German language about the passed doctoral exam as well as an English translation of the document.

The certificate confirms that the doctorate was completed successfully and names the title of the thesis and the final grade. It is signed by the director of the BayNAT Graduate School and by the President of the University of Bayreuth. The date of the certificate is the date of the defense (oral exam). The certificate is handed over by the director of BayNAT - therewith the doctorate is fulfilled and the doctoral degree legal.

After closure of the doctoral procedure, the candidate may review the report on the oral exam and the written reports of the reviewers in the dean's office by request.
