Research interests:

  • Simulation of atmospheric chemistry in smog chambers and with model calculations
  • Aerosol measurement
  • Photochemistry of sea salt aerosol and halogen activation
  • Behavior of low volatile industrial chemicals, i.a. pesticides, biocides, flame retardants, solvents, plasticizers in air and water
  • Measurement of the rate constants of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions of environmental chemicals in air and water
  • Reaction kinetics, spectroscopy and photochemistry of atmospheric trace gases and aerosol particles
  • Reactions of OH radicals, ozone and other reactive substances
  • Quantum yield of photolysis and transformation products
