Together with a Peruvian - German team of lecturers and researchers, the micrometeorology group lead and taught the summer school at Panguana, a biological research station and conservation area in the lowland rainforest of Peru.
Under the title "Monitoring and managing protected tropical rainforest biodiversity under climate change" the summer school has been financed by the DAAD and carried out successfully in September 2019, with a participation of 8 German and 10 Peruvian students as well as two local Park Rangers
We further established an automatic weather station to complement and contrast our microclimate network in Upper Franconia, details and data can be found on our webpages under Panguana
